Ha! Made ya look! Most of you clicked here looking for a rant. Instead, I want to say, having watched the entire CWS, that game was by far the best and most consistently called. I don't have any complaints about those umps.
I do, however, want to use that game to make a point. Baseball is such a game of momentum, the umps have insane control over it. Like last night, Stan was rolling until the 9th inning walk. Boom, momentum swing right there. Do NOT take that as blaming the umps, as every call of that at bat was correct. When the mo switched, every subsequent Vandy at bat was different. Game over.
Now, go back and look at all the people saying the umps didn't impact the Vol/Tx game. It was comical and shameful really how badly they impacted that game. Too bad they didn't call that game the way last night's game was called.
