Penn State hires the offensive coordinator from New England. Impressive.

Florida hires the offensive coordinator from Boise State. Sounds good.

Auburn hires Van Gorder as Defensive Coordinator. Dude was AWESOME at UGA as DC.

Tennessee is HOPING to get a linebackers coach from Alabama, who was a DC at Alabama A&M and Illinois State...over 10 years ago. But, whom may be backing out, so it may be the DC from Navy...yes, Navy.

One of these things is not like the other ones.

Makes me sick. I kinda wonder if Dooley has a bad reputation among the coaching community as someone difficult to work with.

Don't show this to the Dooley sheep. They are so blind to the world they think everything he does is gold.

Problem is everyone knows Dooley has to prove himself in 2012. If he doesn't, the whole staff could be out for 2013. Would you be willing to relocate for a new job if you thought you might be dumped in 1 year?

Hiring a d-coach from a team that gave up 9 TD's all year would be terrible. Oh, he's also a pretty good recruiter too. You'd find something negative no matter who we hired.

Someone of RS caliber might should consider it, he could end up being the replacement in 2013 if he wants it.

Add to the list that Alabama is interviewing Brian Schottenheimer for OC.

So how about we hire the waterboy from Bama. Dude kept those players nice and hydrated...oh, he also serves high quality H20.

I completely agree. I think people learned from that whole 1 year Dave Clawson experiment.:twocents:

Even Akron was able to hire a head coach who was 139-63(47-17 in the SEC). He may not be a top choice, but even they hired a proven winner.

Im behind whomever our coach may be, but CDD isn't proven. So its gonna be hard to hire a person who probably feels that they are more qualified to be the HC than Dooley.

Really? Youd be upset with the offensive coordinator from the New England Patriots? Really?

The PSU fanbase was really p***ed. You mock TN for trying to get a well known, successful lb coach and recruiter to be our DC, but then you think it's a great hire when PSU gets an OC to be HC.
