Didnt ESPN say that we had like 40 players that havent took a snap in our own stadium?

Didnt ESPN say that we played over 21 freshmen?

Quit your b****** and support your friggen team. We got smacked by the same Oklahoma by 24 points when we played them the first time. We played again when they were a better team and we took them to double over time.

Look im 99 percent sure our Vols are going to bounce back in the Swamp. They know what it feels like to lose now and im sure they dont want that feeling again. Also have you seen the Rest of the SEC East, Vandy is Vandy, USC is garbage, Kentucky is a threat to win the division, Mizzou almost lost to a sun belt team, UGA looked vulnerable, and UF was one butterfinger away from losing to ECU. Im confident we going to run the division! Who's with me:rock::rock::rock:

I'm with you. I'll freely admit it was a horrible, inexcusable loss. We had no business losing that game after going up 17-0. Coaching not to lose lost it for us. However, most of us came in to this game thinking it was the second or third hardest (Bama and UGA) of the year. If you'd told me before the game that we'd hold OU to 17 in four quarters after last week I would've been thrilled. We're trending in the right direction, unlike with Dooley how we got worse and worse. The SEC East looks really, really bad. I'm actually more confident that we can win it now, even after this awful loss. Our schedule looks immeasurably easier today than it did this time last week.

I was saying this to people around me in my section at Neyland. Those penalties immensely exposed our youth and gave Oklahoma too many chances to get back into the game.

That 3 straight 3rd down penalties to give first down late in 4th killed us.....that horrid PI with the ball obvs uncatchable....it was just was the perfect storm to keep us from winning a game we should have....game honestly reminded me of when #2 fumbled through the end zone vs ga or 13 men on defense....no matter how close we get we just can't put it all together yet....we have to learn to win....none of us wanna hear That but it is evident....coaches and players...
Maybin was a monster love that guy...from special teams only 2 years ago to flat out leader/baller

Here's a stat.....for the second year in a row we are still the youngest team in FBS.

Does that mean that in 2 years we will be the oldest? I don't think so. I love stats they can be turned to make anything look good or bad.

A couple of stats that jump out. OU rushed for 161 total yds, Mixon had 78, their QB was their 2nd leading rusher with 46 if memory serves, Perine was a non factor. Their QB was tough to get on the ground, he escaped from Barnett's grasp at least twice, appeared he got more yds than he did. His QBR for the game was 43 and change, Dobbs had a QBR of 20, neither QB had a good night which is why both teams could only show 17 in regulation.

2 on a walk on on one drive.

I don't understand football enough to know why DK jr isn't ready, but he can't be worse.

Is this a peterman type situation? Maximum effort and passion in practice but is lost in real games?

Sick of excuses. Also, we were the better team.

Also sick of talking about how we are going to win the east...why?...because everyone else sucks. It's never because of how good we are.

Didn't Oklahoma start a walk-on quarterback and three freshman offensive lineman and a running back with nine career starts? Oh, yeah, all of this in front of over 100,000 people? Bob Stoops gets results, not excuses or "analytics." That's why Stoops wins and Butch comes up with clichés.

The penalties, and when they occured, are very uncharacteristic of our team.

They were huge and costly.
One of the Sunday morning shows also gave stats
with and without Maggitt. I was surprised at the difference.
He is the defensive leader without question, even if he's not making the stops.

Mayfield is technically a walk on. But it isn't like he is a scrub. Your point was valid enough without the walk on jab.

Do you remember those stats, perhaps?

That "walk on QB" was a Big 12 freshman all american at Texas Tech. Our Oline wasnt any better. 9 career starts? Dude ran for 473 in a football game!!!! He also had 1700 yards rushing for the whole year. Stoops had the better team and we was whooping them the whole night til the 4th quarter. You wouldnt even be complaining if we had won that game.

Just stop, Tennessee was a much better football team than OU. Tennessee got out coached and its plain and simple. Now can this staff improve? Yes. Can this team still win the east? Yes. Will they? I dont know because this staff is so damn set in their ways dont believe me then why is Colton Jumper still starting MLB? Interesting stat of the night OUR DAMN MLB ONLY HAD 4 F-ING TACKLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He walked on at Tech. He was so good that they didn't want him back for the following season.

C'mon, man. He is better than you're implying. Your other points are valid, though. Mayfield is not a traditional walk on type of talent.
