Tenn. hires (enter coach here) and next year after he inherits the talent that has been brought in, we beat western ky, Austin peay.....go to Oregon and get beat....go to fl and get beat....beat s. Alabama....and say lose to ga......after this university has listened to the fans and brought in this new coach.....how many of you will be calling for the new coaches head or suggest everybody stay away from the games......with the talent we have there should be zero tolerance.....win or be gone....right?

We could possibly lose all the seniors, plus CP, JH, & Bray on top of changing every single coach. I would give him two years before I started *****ing.

I see where you are going with this. To me it's not so much the record ( well it sort of is) but its been the awful coaching. Talented players that can't tackle, are out of position, can't catch, quit in the second half when facing adversity. If those were corrected, we would have beat Florida, Miss St and perhaps Georgia.

Get back to me when the new coach has started 0-5 in the SEC for 3 consecutive years and I'll join the period revolution with you.

That you Capt. Kirk? We get....it . You love......Dooley. Mr Sulu warp speed .......now!

its not a point of loving dooley...first off he came in here with absolutely nothing. now whoever the coach is he will have a mostly senior laden team and if he does not win at least 9 maybe 10 games he should be on the hot seat...and if it is the huge hire that everybody wants, not one, TB,JH or CP will test NFL because they will stay and play for HIM...the thing I hate the most is all the disrespect dooley is getting for coming in here and at least bringing this team back to some sort of foundation
The man deserves a little respect...

if the so called Huge Hire goes 0-5 with a senior laden team..he should be on the hot seat......but that won't happen, we play auburn next year!!..they should not be a top 15 team...

Year 1 and year 3 are not the same thing.

The man deservrs a little respect...

CDD is not getting disrespected for coming in here and bringing this team back to some sort of foundation.

He is being replaced for underperforming. In year three.

lets see if you will agree to this...if defense would have allowed say 300 yards a game and 21 less points a game, this team could be 7-1...in all honesty would most of you be happy or is it you never liked the dooley hire and he goes at all cost...

Go check out my posts until this season. I was the president of the CDD fan club.

The problem with your scenario is that the defense did not allow 300 yards a game. We are not 7-1. Once again, we have lost to our most bitter rivals, along with M St, that we should have beaten. The defense is the worst thing we've seen on the field since... since... Well, since CDD's offense the years before.

It is always something with a CDD team.

It has become clear that CDD is in over his head. I was the first one to slow everyone down until we see what CDD could do with a roster with talent. We have now seen. That is all.

Nobody will be calling for Gruden's head after 1 yr. Saban's first yrs at LSU and Ala werent exactly top level. Our schedule next yr is brutal. I believe we will be a much, much better coached team under Gruden. If everyone comes back we could beat someone we shouldnt. But guys will be learning new schemes, new lingo, new coach's. Nobody expects a NC in yr one.

It is not just about the losses in my mind. The most important factors are the in-game decisions that have totally taken away any confidence I had in the staff. We've put up over 30 points on several of the best teams in college football this year, but in almost every case we've made a series of decisions, from clock management, to scheme, to player substitutions, that have negated all our Os success. At this point in the development of the team, even with the change over in assistants after last season, we should not be making as many stupid mistakes. That is on the HC.

If the new guy can come in and just make sure we coach a clean game, we have the players to get the wins.

If if if
If in year three we had recruited a kicker, punter fixed the kicking game.
If in year three we could still manage the clock and timeouts
If Dooley wasn't so hard to get along with that seven coaches left
If in year three we could beat anyone of substance
If in year two we didn't lose to a UK with a wr at qb
If in year three we could tackle
If we were not bing talked about in the same breath as Vandy (0-5 three years in a row)

You have to look at the whole body of work.

Whoever replaces CDD can not be an "or-be-gone" coach. He will have to be here for the duration of his contract or the program sinks into oblivion. That is why it is so important to get a home-run hire with the lowest chance of failure.

I expect that's why the administration is going all-out for a dream hire.

He'll get some credit for stability, as he should. He will not be mistaken as a coach that given more time we know he would have competed for championships here.

If thats disrespect so be it. In this case disrespect=truth

NEVER HAPPEN. Gruden can take the team we have this year and compete with anyone in the nation. We would be a top ten team for sure. The offense and most of the defense has been starting in the sec since they were freshman. Dooley didn't compete with fl(at home), bama(at home) and still lost to uga, usc, and a misst team that we are more talented and deeper than at every position. i can't stand all these Dooley Bangers!!! Gruden 2012. (i like Gundy from osu too)

Literally, the logic is:

Well yes, we would. But we're not.

Again.
