Screw you Lawgator, bet you wouldn't say that if we win. (Seriously, I hope the "screw you" phrase doesn't upset you. I am still a little PO'd from the loss. I am sure you can relate...cough, cough, bammer.) :biggrin2:

We havent done it in 6 years.

No offense taken.

Difference is that, despite the lack of offense, you were in it during the 4th quarter and had a chance to win if you'd scored and been able to stop the run. Gators were so far out of it by 12 minutes left in the third quarter that I was already playing internet chess by then.

Kind of loss the Gators had you don't get PO'd. You just shake your head and say, "yuck."

I applaud you for your optimism and it doesn't matter where it stems from as long as you have it.

Having said that, I just don't see how we are going to win any of the remaining big games on our schedule. Even Vandy looks like a threat right now as much as I hate to say it.

Something has to give here. Like the players said after the game, you can get better or worse. If we get any worse, it's going to be a really really tough season from here on out.

Good point, I think our boys were just wore out and sucking wind. I am not disgusted, just upset, but hey, I can get over it. They didn't do so bad.

OWB, I agree with the Vandy statement. I am scared. Let's not talk about it right now. I can't handle the high orangeblood pressure.

I do think Bama takes it...but closer than most think. I'll be curious to see who can step up for Prothro..that was a huge loss and I just cant see Bama playing that good in a game the rest of the yr...if so, everyone will be in trouble.

Should be a WAR on defense, but i dont think they can put points on the board.

I dont think UT can make many substained drives on that Bama D....Bama must limit it's TO's to take the pressure off it's D.

I appreciate all that Clausen has done but he just isn't a threat to a good defense. He can't run and he can't throw deep. The D can just go in a cover 2 and take the run away along with the short passes.

Bama shouldn't be any different.

You know i really didnt buy into him not having much of an arm until today. Mainly because i havent seen him try and go over like 5-10 yards. He is absolutely horrendous at long ball, he heaves his whole body into it. I clearly realized the hype behind Ainge today.

Or at least put Ainge back in and get him ready to compete again. Who knows, he might just stretch the field out for us. At least it would be a deep ball threat even if we would have to get lucky to actually complete it.
