Please Let Us Not Forget. last year was the worst season in Tennessee Football.

Yes, there is a lot of positive things going on this off season, but please let us not throw our hearts (money) at Tennessee without any results.

I know I know. that is easier said then done, how can you not fully support something you love (money and all), but I beg you fellow fans hold off until results are made. Tennessee, as unfortunate as it is, is just like any other business (money rules all). I am seeing this new slogan with Tennessee "We want a team you can be proud of" a team you can be proud to say this is "Your Team". Well guess what!!! Tennessee had the worst damn season of its entire history last year and I am not buying into this load a crap anymore. I am not proud to call Tennessee my team (yes I will give my all for Tennessee and yes I will always be a Tennessee fan, and yes I will say "Go Vols whenever I see someone wearing Tennessee clothes, but damn it I don't say it with pride.....how can I after getting stomped by Georgia in our own freaking house when we honored Peyton Manning who gave his all for Tennessee, who stayed an extra year to play at Tennessee when millions were waiting for him in the NFL, how can I say it Proudly when the people who run this school don't give a damn about how we do as long as money fill there pockets)

So please I beg you fellow fans, don't jump on the hype train, don't buy into the crap they are selling us until we get results. I am as encouraged as anyone that Tennessee may finally be back on the right track but, as the saying goes "fool me once.... fool me twice..... well I am not letting Tennessee fool me three times

It is time to Nut Up or Shut Up.....I am done leaving Neyland Stadium with my head hung low.

Let Us Not forget the crap we had to endure.

Well, I had almost forgotten last season. Thanks for the reminder.
Of course, that is why I am reminding you, because like everyone else I would rather forget the pain and hope for the best.

Well guess FREAKIN what that has screwed us over for the last 10 years, forgetting and hoping for better things to come is what has caused us to get into this mess in the first place. ohhh "next season is ours" the famous Tennessee quote the hasn't amount to a pile of crap.

So yes I am glad I remind you, I hope I remind every Tennessee fan so we don't continue down this rabbit hole of make believe, and we actually finally do something. I mean I am pissed by gosh. this crap is embarrassing. forgetting about it aint gunna do nothing, fixing it will.

Any yet you will find that in nothing I wrote???

Support the team, yes....I am not gunna explain myself because there is no need to. It is obvious how you can support the team and not be someone who is a full fledge, jump on the Tennessee Hype train, and throw your money at the new slogan "fan".

Damn it, I am pissed.

Listen, you know what puts a smile on my face, when I run into a Alabama fan that hates us more than Auburn. I mean I love that. I am not gunna explain myself either because everyone should get it.

we're losing it though...

Why would I not fully support my team? New staff. New Energy. This is the time where we should be supporting 100%. If he has a bad year then we fall back. This team is a product of about what? 4 top 15 recruiting classes? We have some holes out there but we are just as talented if not more talented than 80% of our competition. No reason to temper any expectations.

Easy Easy, Man I completely understand your frustration. If you really are a fan you have to give this new thing some time to mature and grow. this IS the most competitive league in all of college football. We have some dudes that can play, and hopefully we have coach that can win. Step back from the bar for a few and look around. I think in a few years you will be satisfied.

That’s the spirit.

I’ve gotta pass on your line of thinking.

Freak this is why a dislike button needs to be added.

Begging Tn fans to not be fanatics about Tn. That makes zero sense.

By the way, you do need to explain yourself after begging for such ridiculousness.

So many wonder about where negavol and notavol accusations come from.

Wait and see. I’ll wait and see it anybody on our schedule can beat us.

Go cry to some other fan base.

I’m as frustrated with the UTAD as anyone. Our last hire should have been a home run but we’re constantly being stifled by Haslam. This is where we are now so let’s let it play out. I’m all for not giving up your money until you see something encouraging.

Fans are optimistic today because the season is weeks away. Let’s hope for incremental improvement. It won’t take much to improve upon last year.

Huge difference between not supporting and not going all in drinking all the orange punch. I think this year will be tough for us and I need to see results from Pruitt before I go thinking he's this future HoF coach, but that doesn't change my support for the program. When we tried to hire Schiano, I admit I was convinced I would never support this program again, but a miracle happened and things changed. The program needs our support right now, probably more than it ever has in the past.

I sincerely believe and HOPE that with the changes we made in the administration and power structure on The Hill our drive as fans to be competitive and winners has been restored. When Schiano was put forward as the savior I knew the problem was not the Head Coach of football, it was much larger. The will to win had vanished and was not even on the horizon to be considered. That has now changed I do believe with Fulmer as AD And his hire, Pruitt as HC. Time will tell, this could be a giant feint but I doubt Fulmer is in on it if it is.

So we shouldn't go to games until we start winning? How many should they win first

Uhh.... So we shouldn't be passionate about practice and the results so far?

What's the point in supporting a team if you aren't going to buy the gear and go to the games or watch them on TV....

Seems like a person you would call a Bandwagoner.... If you only support the team in the good times....

If last year was the worst team in history honestly the only way to go is up from there. So anyways.....

Let's go VOLs!!!!!!

Losing it... I forgot about that win streak we have against Mississippi. It's precious at this point.
