A NEW TRADITION
Hey Big Orange Faithful,
Lane Kiffin is our new coach and will be our new coach for a very long time. There was a lot of skeptical talk about the youngster when he first came here including me, just bashing somebody I did not feel deserved the job but I'm starting to have a good feeling about this guy. His staff seems like it is going to be one of the most exceptional staffs in college football. Tennessee should be a huge recruiting river to jump right into, I mean think about it, how many high school kids especially on the defensive side want to learn from a former professional DC, I'll answer that question, 100 million kids do.
Sure some kids were discouraged and decided to turn around after Fulmer was let go but lets look at it this way, others kids don't and won't get discouraged and will come play on Rocky Top and will take this team to greater standards. I think Kiffin has a great fire that he is going to bring and this team is going to be a winner. Change isn't always bad and to me this is a good change.
Hell, next year lets see a SEC Title or what the hell, even a national title and even if we don't get that, we will get a winning season. The rest of the SEC better be prepared and put their storm hatches down because The Tennessee Volunteers are going to be a force not to be reckoned with for years to come.
