That some of these posters throwing out names of coaches we should or should not hire are some of the ones who lambasted us for not believing in Butch and telling us Butch was the savior of UT Football

In the end, all you can rely on his how they have performed at other locations and against similar opponents they would face in the SEC. Right now, you can't just throw out any name just so we have a coach. Its what got us in this damn mess to start with. We must not put blinders on and throw darts at a board. Lets be reasonable and get the best QUALIFIED coach out there. Stop with our personal favorites or who make us feel good about ourselves.

I honestly think VolNation could pull off this hire "on time and under budget". The error in your post is highlighted above. The word Lets, is short for Let us.
Their ain't no US in this search. Currie's ability to pull this off is like a stock tanking. When do you sell and cut your losses?

I will sadly admit I was one who thought Butch was the guy, I bought in and I got excited. I was wrong, terribly wrong. There are only 2 names I care to hear from this point going forward and that’s our very own Tee Martin and Lane Kiffin ( even tho I despise the way he done us leaving like he did) those are the only 2 names that aren’t Dooley or Jones 2.0 and if by chance we could get them both together on the same staff it would be even better for recruiting. Muffins contractvwould have to be extremely detailed and UT would have to be the beneficiary of the buyout on both sides. He owes us Big if he leaves and we owe him lil if we fire him. Plus be specific, he owes us for any issues NCAA related and he’s gone with cause (no buyout). At this point it’s the best options we have.

Well said Count, and another thing that is really just burnin my hind end is the way everybody has turned on everybody!! Sunday we all come together as 1, we was a united family and one voice and look what we got done (granted o could only email cause I don’t do social media) but regardless we achieved something we all believed in. If we could only get that unity all in favor of one name and replay Sunday we could possibly saving face in this search and hire a decent coach. The more we fight amongst ourselves with all these different names being thrown around and all these useless interviews or phone calls the more it ruins our once great university and reputation. The media is hanging on everything that UT does and has for a while now. But I’d bout be willing to put money on it that if Kiffin or Tee was hired the jabs would stop cause we would have someone that wouldn’t take it and give it back. Could you imagine the jabs at the media on social media, Kiffin would make Trump look juvenile!!!
