I'll concede that he doesn't throw the prettiest ball, but then again, neither did Danny Wuerffel. The fact is that he is finding the right guy. I've ready a lot of people on here clammoring about how sucky the teams are we've played because our receivers are so wide open. Well, I would argue that it's for three reasons.
1. They're not great defenses
2. We have too many guys you have to cover that lesser DBs are getting stuck either trying to find Ingram running across the middle while 4 other guys are occupying a cover 3 downfield, or running one-on-one with Cooper or Caldwell. Either way, they're screwed, I don't care what team it is. UT has better DBs, but your 4th or 5th DB will still get burned by our 4th or 5th WR, with our without Caldwell.
3. Tebow knows exactly who to check down to. On almost any play, if oyu have enough decent receivers, one will get open. It's just a matter of having a QB who can find him if he's not the first option, and having decent protection. In Tebow's case, he doesn't always need that because he's such a threat to run, he can get outside, avoid the first couple of guys and still find an open guy.
