This loss didn't sting as much as others have. I think it's because I felt like we were very close to winning the game.

Coping? Besides reviewing that last series in my mind about a thousand times?

Like, what if we got maybe just 20 net yards on the ground.

Maybe I could buy the Koontz novel at the base store. I haven't read it yet, and it would get my mind off of it.

I'm hoping to get a care package or two in the next day or so, one of which should have a UT media guide in it. That would definitely help me cope.

I'm kind of afraid to... The picture doesn't even really explain how good the patent leather looks.

Yeah....close ones are hard to handle. I think it would have been easier if the ground game didn't look so bad. It could have looked more like the Auburn-LSU slugfest. It's better to lose when everything was working fine. But to lose when one area looked pathetic makes this all the more difficult to handle.

ya i have had a hard time dealing with the loss, after work and working out, i go home have some whiskey n dip a can of skoal everynite this wk
