To all you negavols who either explicitly or in your hearts wanted us to lose – you know who you are -- YOU LOST AND WE WON.

Bolerjack and Brando said it all during the game: “I believe the criticism was unwarranted and unjust. Phillip Fulmer has had one losing season in 16 years. And what a great person too. We spent some time with him this week. He’s a great person who takes a lot of pride in his kids and in his program. He’s got 35 years associated with this university. He was 30-5 as a player.”

In MY words: CPF IS the heart and soul of this program. You losers are not. Go cheer for Bammer: you’ll be right at home.

I'm not wasting any more time on here.

Just in case you forgot.

No doubt though, today's game was really fun to watch.

But I'm sure the history of 9 years ago is different than the history 2 wees ago huh?

What a wonderful day to be a Tennessee Vol! I hope they will play like this the rest of this year and we can still make it to the SECCG! These Vols today are superb!!

I post quite a bit on another board. There were a number of Florida fans that said they really enjoyed this game because it was a step in the right direction to keep Fulmer around longer. I think that about sums it up.

Living in the past are we? 17-12 over last 29 games.

I don't want to be negative, just stating it like it is. Does a Vol fan not have the right to be upset over the performance of the last 2 years led by a coach that makes $2 Million a year?

Everyone is happy to see UT win, regardless of anyone's opinion of Fulmer.

Here, here.

I love the Vols, but it doesn't mean I have to like Fulmer. Contrary to what anybody else says, I really enjoyed this game. I don't know where this idea came from that you aren't a true Vol fan if you don't like the direction of the program or its head coach.

The overwhelming amount of people on here always root for UT to win. Get over yourself.

So you are using our most hated rival fans to back up what you are saying? Hmmm...interesting.

ANd I take it by Fulmers salary comment that you are having to pay every dime of it?

Kind of grasping at straws here aren't we?

Actually orangeblooded, yes, I am using our most hated rival fans to back up what I am saying. It's kind of telling when you most hated rival fans support your coach more than some of your fans do huh?

And your salary comment has nothing to do with me...so you did in fact "take" it wrong. If a 17-12 record over almost 30 games and no BCS appearance in 8 years is worth $2 Million a year then there are plenty of other coaches in the nation right now that are disgustingly underpaid.

the coach is never bigger than the program. Very very very few people on here will say he's not a nice guy. You're not going to find that much on here. One game doesn't make or break a season though, and Fulmer still has a lot of proving to do. If he can sustain this kind of effort the rest of the year, then opinions can change. If you are truly done with this board, don't let the door hit ya on the way out

Just enjoy the win. Why be negative today? Is that too much to ask of a "fan"? Today was agreat win.:yahoo:

I'm thankful for this win and I believe everyone did a great job. However I still think that we need a major shakeup of our coaching staff. History tells me that this isn't the norm for us... read the game thread, a sampling of the fanbase hasn't seen this team play like that in ages.

If Fulmer can keep winning fine, he can stay. ..but I still want to see some fresh minds ushered into our coordinator spots.

I never said otherwise!!!!

I absolutely loved this game. This season has a much more auspicious tone to it now. Let's all be LSU fans for the next couple of hours now.

Go Vols!

nobody said he wasn't?

Yes, they have. He's been called lots of names on here over the last month -- the same kinds of things he's called on the Bammer boards. I'm not going to do your research for you, but it's on here and everybody knows it.

I've been a Fulmer downer. However, I've always maintained that if he goes, I don't want it to be ugly for everyone's sake. Additionally, I hate when people say personal disrespectful things about him. It's inappropriate and childish. Lastly, he did a great job this past two weeks and they obviously deserved the win.

from what i have seen, nobody has questioned fulmer as a good person. his coaching yes, but good guy attributes, no. it amazes me how people can still be negative after today. instead of celebrating the win, all the fulmerites want to do is play these " i told you so games."
