No more excuses.

Next man up.

Other teams have injuries to key players and have been successful.

Just win

Ordinarily I would agree. But having 4 all conference guys out at key positions is asking an awful lot. These particular injuries are absolutely legitimate excuses for losing this game.

Saw a scout article that 8 players will make their debut tomorrow. Who all are we missing?

I know Sutton, Hurd, JRM, Kirkland .....who else??? Saw that Abernathy might be a possibility??

Is Abernathy injury or discipline related?

Please stop being afraid of success. Great teams lose players and keep rolling. Overcome their loss with other players filling in and coaching.

Looking for excuses to lose is weak. There's no reason why this team of talented Volunteers can't ride into Aggie land and win a football game.

I hope the coaches don't coach the way some of you think.

No, it's not. Excusing a loss before the game is even played? That's ridiculous.

Butch needs to earn his pay. Anyone can win with a full roster and all the luck. Champions take what's given and makes it work. He needs to pull out all the stops. Needs to be aggressive. Take chances.

Vols are playing with house money today. We're underdogs, lucky, decimated by injuries, on the road vs a top 10 team.....no way we can win this game. Nothing at all points to a UT win and everyone is saying/writing it. Kids and staff certainly will have a chip on their shoulders....or at least they should have. If I'm a coach, I'm going to let Dobbs have freedom today. Just let him ball. Put the game in his hands from the start and let the chips fall. No way I'm going to play conservative and depend on the defense and special teams to win this. You might do this at home but not on the road under these circumstances. You go out and take this one....or try to. Let it all fly. You come up short and that's fine. You gave it your full and best shot. Everyone expects a loss so what's to lose? Just once I'd like the staff to just take hands off the wheel and the foot off the brakes on this QB/offense. We aren't going to control this game on the ground. We have to attack and use the weapons that made the trip. We can be dangerous if we load bullets in the gun and pull the trigger. Question is....will they?

I don't buy the 8 players. They're probably just trying to get Jones and Co to bite.

We'll be ready. They'll be ready.

Lets go to war.
