I see a lot of "us-vs-them" posts today considering fan loyalty and just thought I would remind everyone that, when it's all said and done, this is still just an internet message board. Nobody prints out our posts for players or coaches to read and the mood of the board has never and will never affect the performance in the press box or on the field. So, if someone wants to gripe about an obviously poor performance - that's what this board is for. If someone wants to predict a 20+ point victory for the Vols next week - that's what this board is for. It does not make someone less of a fan to call it like they see it, nor does it improve our chances of winning if we all sing Kumbaya and embrace only the positive. Nobody is forced to read or post on this board. Everyone is welcome, and so is everyone's opinions and reactions. We are, after all, only human. We all love the Vols - our presence here proves that. (Yes, even you rivals who pretend to hate us.) But to expect all the posts on this board to be rosy and glowing is unrealistic. There are rules concerning personal shots, profanity, and decency, and while these are largely ignored ( :p ) this board is a great place to be before, during, and after games. If you don't like what somebody else posts, just remember that in a few days, it will be 2-3 pages deep in the archives and won't matter to anybody anymore. Just my 2 cents. Y'all know I luv ya.

(And just in case I'm wrong about CLK not reading the posts - Coach, you are H.O.T!)

Great post, I agree with everything except for the last comment, which you lost all integrity for. All true VOL fan's know it's Lalya that is "HOT".

It may be an improvement if these rules weren't ignored.

And in case anyone is reading the posts - Good post.

Great post LIO.

This is also a good time to remind everyone about the ignore user/thread feature conveniently located under the "User CP" link at the top of the page. Rather than continue to get bent out of shape when you see that name or topic, hit the ignore button and enjoy your day.
