Less than 48 hrs to NSD

I don't know, most had us top 10 with a chance to be top 5 before Fulmer was fired.

Now it looks like a very solid class has fallen apart.

I wish him nothing but the best and am hoping we shock the world on NSD, but I ain't holdin my breath.

Fulmer had lots of top recruiting classes in the past. What good did it do him? You have to be able to coach them up. This staff will do fine when they have an entire signing season to work the recruits, and once they get them they are going to do a hell of a lot better at making the most of the players they have.

I agree, Fulmer was really good at "doing less with more". I feel confident that we have the right coaches in place to get the best out of our players.

You would be surprised by how many people still dont know how to spell our coach's name

I am not surprised. I see it every day and it gets to me, but they usually say Kiffen.

To have a g on the end was an obvious typo. I guess I fat fingered it or something. Sometimes I try to type too fast for my own good.

Those who called Clawson, Clausen used to get to me as well. It seems like there was another name that was messed up regularly.

It might be worth noting that the 09 class was shaping up pretty well...until recently. It might also be noted that Auburn's staff had even less time to recruit but seems to be, at least holding it's own.

I was thinking the same thing but, for the life of me, I don't know why this is the case.

In my humble opinion, it is not who we sign or who we lose tomorrow that will tell the tale on the VOLS under CLK. It will involve what he and his staff does with what we have this season and I am convinced with Coach O and the others the NSD on 2010 will be very big. If this class finishes in the top 20 we should all find the donkey put CLK on top and wave our palm leaves while he sojourns into Neyland Stadium.
GO VOLS

Auburn's majority of the competition for the recruits they were picking up were the likes of Kentucky, Vandy, Troy, UAB, etc.

It's no wonder they're picking so many up.

Now I am wondering about the message that the recruits hear once they make their different campus visits. Maybe they, (or their parents) like to hear that they will be going to school vs. training for the NFL?
