We all know Leonard's past problems off the field in the NFL, but of all the Legends of the games, he rose to the occasion yesterday (just like he did wearing the orange). He loves this university and showed it as he kneeled down and kissed the power T at the end of his tribute.

Pride in the program has not left as we're trying to find our way back!

VFL!

I like your post but leave the past in the past. Just say he is a vfl and leave the rest of it out.

Heard about that on Twitter. His horrible decision to drink and drive cost a woman her life, but he must go on living his and I am glad to see him embrace his Big Orange-ness!

His football is in the past as well.

Sorry, Little forfeited anyone "leaving the rest out of it" 15 years ago when he killed someone.

And then was busted a couple of years later for drunk driving again. Lesson was apparently not learned.

I assume you never made a mistake in your decision making process. However, if you have, a hope you paid the price just as Mr. Little has.

My biggest problem with Mr Little is that he choose to drink and drive again, after he had killed someone's mother/sister/daughter. Does that mean that I think he should have to wear a Scarlett letter? No, but you can't pretend it did not happen. I certainly have made mistakes as well, and I wish him the best. He is ultimately the one who has to go to bed at night and try to sleep knowing what he did.

If I recall the story the other person in question also ran a light....not to say that changes he shouldn't have been drinking , and might could have avoided it, but the accident may have ended up happening either way. I also think he had only had a beer and two shots......the police stated he seemed coherent, and I think passed a field test, but not the BAC test..... Many of us who have gone out in our lives have drank this amount, and been tempted to think we're good to go later.....this could have happened to many people.

In either case, I hate it happened, and I hate he's had to deal with a stigma as a result, but it doesn't change the fact that he's one of my very favorite Tennessee players of all time. I know I have done plenty of stupid things. Many of us have, and as luck would have it no one got hurt....but they just as easily could have....I'm sure he constantly wishes he could take that night back, but what is done, is done, leave it in the past and if you really appreciate him, don't bring that crap up.....

Leonard Little is one of the greatest linebackers for UT to walk the field, he's a VFL, and I would gladly hang with him any time.

yeah, i don't like the fact he did what he did. But i wanted to thank him for what he did at Tennessee. He had a big smile on his face when i told him the first game i ever came to was 1996 ucla when terry fair ran the punt back. Biggest smile i saw on his face the whole time i chatted with him. or in any picture.

And it is now time for those in their ivory towers to come down and grace us with their presence!

No ivory tower here...but when I drink at my rancher I don't get in the car.........even if I've only had one drink and need to go pick up a quart of milk...no exceptions...
