Did Creer even get a carry on offense tonight? I saw him on kickoffs but never saw him at tailback. I really think he may be the spark we need on offense. Foster is to slow and fumbles to much and Hardesty is good but seems to lack vision. I think our home run hitter is on the bench most of the game, I so dread the Vandy game. I mean I expect to lose to UGA and bama but I really dread losing to Vandy if we dont find some offense quick we may lose to Kentucky also.

If Fulmer is still the coach in the future, then you'll see Creer on the field more in 2010.

i said in another thread that i believe lennon is are best back...in the sec u cant dance around like foster does and expect to gain yards..lennon hits the whole hard and finishes his runs... since last yr uga games foster has done nothing agaisnt big sec opponents its time to stat creer n keep hardesty he same

it's over 3 ypc and it's not like Hardesty is breaking records against SEC competition either.

You're right, it's over three ypc, by 1/22. He has 22 carries and 67 yards. I wasn't defending Hardesty, just saying that Foster's average is "enhanced" by competition.

but so is everyone else's. It just amazes me how much better the backups get by just sitting on the bench. When UGA and Bama blow us out, 75% of the posters here will consider Coleman a superstar.... Most Southeast Tennesseans already do.

Bottom line - our o-line isn't getting the job done. I think any of those RBs could be good to great.

i agree with that. I've said from day one that hardesty and foster should split carries. My point is Foster is much much better than most on here give him credit for.

Creer returned kicks all night. It's not like we didn't utilize him. Foster was playing pretty well, so why bench him? By that argument, we should have benched Stephens and put Coleman in, just because you never know..

Two things... 1)Foster struggled a lot, had a hard time hitting the holes and 2) Creer's talents are wasted if used on kickoffs alone. that's not exactly utilizing him. If Foster runs for 150 then that's one thing, but he struggled all night, as did the O line.
