The more I watch Lennon the more I see a trait I don't like. He is a big time dancer when he gets the ball. Instead of running with authority he cuts back and tips some and then just finishes the run off. He had some runs where all he had to do was run to the corner and keep riding instead he is cutting the ball back getting smashed.

Nothing or no one stands out on the offense. Its been piss poor from the start and shows no signs of getting better.

I think Creer is a very good running back. However, our OL is so bad, it is hard to tell. But yes, I think he is very good. I am glad he is cutting the ball up the field and going North and South instead of hitting the corner and then sidelines every time like Foster.

The difference is he can make the corner. Unlike Foster. He could be great if he just runs.

Not sure he even has time to get to the corner.
I am reserving judgment on all the RB's they all have a different style and get the same result. At this point it is just that oline. This has got to be the softest and unproductive line we have ever had. And to think UGA's oline is walk ons and freshman.

a fast gamebreaker style rb is the answer...something we dont really have right now

Lennon is ahead of where he should be IMO. He is still our 3rd best back. He needs to work on catching the ball out of the backfield/route running, and blocking assignments. He has all the physical tools, but can put on a few pounds and still be just as explosive IMO. He will be a great back when he gets it together, but we still have 2 better backs on our roster right now.

I will be glad when Giles and Oku get here. Especially Giles if he stays with us.

honestly it's that very reason why i miss coker, had he kept his head out of his butt he might have had a heck of a last two years in production and be a team leader or something, or at least a major threat to other teams...

true, i hope those guys stay and come here and have success. If giles is as fast as he is supposed to be he could become a big weapon for us; nothin like a really fast rb

How many pass routes have you watched the boy run? Inless you go to practice you honestly have not seen him run that many.
Think this a little over analysis.

He could afford more size but he is 6'0 205-215
I think he needs blocking.

Creer is the long term answer but until the O line shows up we could have any TB in the country and it would not make any difference. When I see Creer run I see right the opposite, I think Foster and Hardesty dance around to much and I think Creer hits it quick and runs straight ahead. In the SEC you are not going to get the corner very much, to much defensive speed. Its easy to see holes on tv but it is much more difficult to hit them in the actual game. IMO Creer talent wise is heads above any back we have on the roster but he never really gets much game action unless its out of hand and mop up duty.

I just don't think Creer is the long term answer. Yes, he has some break away speed, but he just isn't very physical, and he runs too upright. A great running back runs downhill. He doesn't, and I just don't think he ever will. He kinda reminds me of Gerald Riggs in that he has alot of potential, but may never reach it.

He's good, but he won't be the premier back till atleast '09, cause Hardesty is a beast! Creer should be worrying more about Poole in '10

Ever seen clips of Eric Dickerson? Because I don't think you are old enough to remember seeing him play in the NFL. He ran even more upright than Creer and is one of the top five runningbacks of all time in the league

Many of you won't remember the 1988 season. Our offense was awful. Our runningbacks looked terrible because of our offensive line. The next year, we had the top two backs in the country, and the best offensive line
