I have wondered if the obx in your username stands for obnoxious..If I didn't know better I would think that y'all are about to have an internet group hug or something.
It's almost football time and y'all are chatting about feelings and such. If it wasn't for the occasional mention of beer now and then in this post I would start to wonder a bit.

my son played on it saturday at the pee wee and junior jamboree and i walked on it and it was great. the turf was well worth the money. very much like what they play on at carson-newman.
Let's face it, any fan that is as passionate and knowledgeable as Hat.....drum roll please.........is a Kick A$$ fan. We all know that Hat needs no validation....heck, the guy in the cd store a couple doors down even knows who Hat is!well, in fairness, I have never met hat personally, and it seems there are plenty here eagar to rush to his defense; that alone suggests I could be wrong with my anonymous observations. I prob have judged unfairly. Sorry hat, and the same to your friends. I hope to meet you personally one day; if you're ever in the Richmond area, let me know; I'll introduce you to the Shockoe Bottom section, and you'll swear it was some of the best drinkin' you ever did!
That was a humorous response to your post, although I will admit that I have almost asked that question concerning posts in the past but refrained. But I will agree that Vol fans are ok by me as well. We are just experiencing the calm before the storm right before a tornado arrives, which will occur Saturday night after next..Good one. You probably can't even remember any of my posts. Besides, where is your humor. Striking a bit too close to home?
The obx stands for Outer Banks in North Carolina. Head due east from Kville until you end up in the Atlantic ocean then back up a half mile and you'll be at my house.
Bottom line......anyone that cheers for the Big Orange is ok by me.

I don't really feel comfortable speaking about hat in the second person when he's right here. Anyway, I have no doubt you are right, and when it comes to textbook/articulation-type smarts, I've seen no one greater than hat here. VN without hat would be like life without a brainy devil's advocate; I'm just speaking for myself. For some reason, I always liked drinking with good ole' boys in honkey-tonks. When the buzz kicks in, you can get a word in edge-wise, and they're genuinely interested.
Actually my wife is a Director/RN/Consultant and trust me,she just audited a place in Memphis that works, contracted for her company that took her about 1/2 a day to see the problem areas, as a result, 100 or so employees keep their jobs, they will now have more money as well continue serving the Memphis community in a good fashion.People go to school, get there degrees, bs,ms,phd's but as I always say you have to continue being able to learn in the business world or you get chewed up pretty quick.Somebody, somewhere better know what's going on!So many consultant jokes . . . so little time.
