He better spend this offseason working on posting up. There is no freaking way a guy that is 6'9 250 should be mediocre at best posting up smaller defenders. While he has improved his jumper, it still has a lot of room for improvement. It's embarrassing seeing an absolute freak of nature wasting that talent.

To say that he is wasting his talent is moronic.

I can agree that his post up game is weak and a guy his size and ability should develop a back to the basket game.

Only player ever that can get a triple-double and evoke criticism.

He is also one of the few guys that can get a triple double when he almost completely disappears in the 4th quarter

Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kobe would rip their opponents head off and rip their heart out through their neck. Cold blooded killers on the court. Lebron doesn't have that. It separates the great from the very good.

Because he needs to score points for them to win. His fourth quarter play isn't getting it done.

Indeed.

He played good last night until the fourth, even then has wasn't bad, made plenty of plays passing. Took some really bad shots though.

You don't pay players 100 mil to see them defer over and over again down the stretch. Does anyone remember his mental notes tweet? I guess he's proving his critics right.

Kobe's had like 3-5 very poor finals performances. Kobe's had an 8 point finals appearance against Indiana. It was a lot more horrendous than LJ's:

Kobe: 8 pts (4 for 20), 5 rebounds, 3 assists
Lebron: 8 pts (3 for 11), 9 rebounds, 7 assists

Please. Kobe's was struggling, LeBron's was deferring or disinterest.

Lebron hasn't been very good in the 4th, but he wasn't bad yesterday. 3 points and 4 assists. That puts you on pace for 12 and 16.

You guys want him to be MJ and score every point, but that's not his game. Somebody said he's more like Magic, and I agree. I think LJ is running out of gas by game's end. He's playing hard both ways. He wants to play a pace like MJ or Wade does, but he has those guys by 50 lbs. We have never seen a guy his size play with that kind of energy and intensity. It's got to be taking a toll.

Seriously? He's too tired?

If you ask Lebron James for a dollar he'll only give you 75 cents. He never gives you the fourth quarter

I would say "tired" is a much sounder theory than "disinterested". That's just me.

There's clearly something distant about his play.

He's clocked a ton of minutes in this postseason, but others have too. They seem to be finding a way to play through it.

His issues seem more psychological than physical. I don't know if the Rashard Lewis rumors are true, but something's going on with the guy.

It is crazy talking bad about a guy that had a triple double, but 11 points total in fourth quarter play in the finals (5 quarters) is just not getting it done.

Two big diferences. That was Kobe's 4th year. He was still trying to learn his way on a team where he was the second best player. This is Lebron's 8th year and he's supposed to be the best player in the league.

Looking at the stat line shows the difference in attitude. Kobe took 20 shots. Right or wrong he was going to impose his will on the game. Lebron is fading into the background. the 8 point game is a microchasm of the bigger issue. Lebron has Magics talent but the attitude of Pippen.

Kobe's got other awful games in the finals. 11 points (4 of 13), 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 turnovers against Detroit. Does that work?

Yeah, but I doubt anybody his size has put in his minutes. He's 260 lbs and plays like guard (and actually plays great D). He's done 45+ minutes in 9 of the last 12 games.
