There isn't a school in the country that's had more embarrassing Sportscenter moments in the last three or four years. We should be used to it by now.

Why wouldn't it be the lead story. It is huge news.

The only silver lining in any of this is that UT has made some very harsh proactive punishments.

This will be the hot topic for Friday. And it will be over tomorrow when Week 2 begins.

Listen, if all we're talking about are some phone calls; with all the other crap that goes on in CBB--(see Cal) I say GTFO--NCAA.

As I said, I'm not really concerned about the cheating. Every school in the country breaks rules every year. The lying to investigators part of the story is unacceptable however.

Also, I have been a big Pearl supporter.

Maybe if some of the fans would back off and quit putting so much pressure on the coaches to succeed and quit hollering for them to be fired if they dont have a winning season every year that might take care of some of it.

This is total BS!!! Most if not all coaches/schools have done this type of stuff, its minor. And BP gets this kinda punishment for it while Cal continues to get away with much worse??? Like I said, BS!!!

So what I've learned today is apparently morality at UT is measured by Calipari; meaning as long as Pearl isn't as bad at Cal, he's fine.

And we claim we're different than other fans.

The whole problem here is about power the Ncaa has it and they love it, they keep making more and more rules its utterly ridiculous how tey enjoy just sending their letters out. I know the sport needs to be cleaned up some but the best way to do that is have a simple booklet with some simple rules and if the coaches break them then they are fired and banned from ever coaching again in college.
