Leach's MOU

Media is all about Schiano but they'd be killing Tennessee if they'd actually hired him.
Exactly. The same ones shoveling the manure would be shoveling the same crap it if it we’d hired him, just a different song.

It was reported that he and currie signed an MOU (true??) If so why isn't it as big of a lawsuit threat as Schianos?
I was at McDonald's yesterday and while I was waiting for my food I saw the fry guy showing some kind of document to the drive-thru lady. She remarked, "Oh, that is what a signed MOU looks like and she asked him where he had gotten it." The fry guy said, "John and I agreed to it while I was on my 15 minute break."

He was really proud of it but I did hear him tell one of his other co-workers that the grill guy over at Penn Station had one too so maybe it really wasn't that big of a deal after all.

Davenport caved in to Fulmer--can't paint it any other color!

This chit storm would not have happened if she had gone along with Currie on ether Brohm or Leach.

She instead allowed Fulmer to influence her!

This is the sorry story that will eventually come out.

You think Fulmer planted a knife in Majors back?

Wait until the real story behind this mess comes out!
You really should spend less time on grassy knolls and more time, here in the real world. It is really a beautiful place especially with little jimmie's bag man gone as the UT AD.

Currie is good at manipulation of the media. He leaks out what suits his agenda. No idea how close the Leach deal was BUT don't put it past Currie to leak that to put pressure on UT to keep him employed.

He and Haslam leaked a lot of the Schiano debacle to make the peasants stay in line and be characterized as DA rednecks. While the media was watching the peasants that flung poo and boardcasting the worst actions and statements of our fans, behind the scenes there was a battle for power in the AD. Currie is fired, Haslam's influence has been weakened but we're still dealing with fallout from those two morons.

It's kind of funny BC the media latched on to the very worst crap that some fans threw out about Schiano. Most of us didn't want him BC he was a mediocre coach and put us firmly under the influence of Haslam even more so. Some including myself just think he's 1)mediocre and 2)even though I don't believe the accusations that scandal is so heinous that it burns a program to the ground if something comes out later and why in the hell do you chance that in Schiano?
I agree with most of your post except for the part about not believing the accusations.

If you can give me a plausible reason why Mike McQueary would tell the truth about the horror that was happening at PSU. Being the only one to stand up and say something and then lie about what Tom Bradley said to him about Schiano's statement. Cannot see why he would do so.

McQueary was crushed when he blew the lid off of mess at PSU. I believe him entirely. And because of that I think that Tom Bradley and Schiano are lying because otherwise their careers/lives would be over.

Even without the PSU connection, Schiano was a TERRIBLE choice for so many reasons. Little jimmie should hire him to coach that train wreck in Ohio since he loves him so much. Oh yeah, there was damn near a mutiny when he proposed that.

But sure hire him at UT, their fans are stupid and won't say a thing. How did that work out for him and Currie?

The introductory paragraph of the MOU plainly states the MOU is not binding unless the ALL individuals holding the offices listed for UT and the prospective new hire are signed as indicated.

Both Shiano's and Leache's were not completed and should be unenforcable.

For the prospective hire:
1. The Coach: Shiano or Leach

For UT there are three:

1. Athletic Director:
Signed by Currie

2. UTK Chancellor:
NOT SIGNED

3. UTK Chief Financial Officer:
NOT SIGNED

What can they sue for? "Duh...you got my hopes up"?

The Media is making a big deal on Schiano's for some reason

Wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that a bunch of ignorant fans jumped on the Clay Travis bandwagon accusing him of covering up a crime with no proof.

I haven't seen reports that anyone has seen it. Where is this from?
