Leach probably has the least chance of coaching in the Champy game of everyone being mentioned. He's likely to lose to OU or in the Big 12 title game, since neither will be on his field.
That happens, he has no chance of jumping over any of the one loss teams, save TX, who is the weakest of the one loss guys in the conversation.
Best two teams appear to be UF and USC. UF beats Alabama, they're a shoo in. USC needs some help and I don't know how they leap TX, who they could beat by 20.
You might be right, but it's going to be hard to overlook USC at the end of the deal.I wish the BCS agreed with you. I can see TX pulling a Nebraska '01, i.e., getting into the title game without winning their conference.

AL or UF is going to be in if they take care of business. The other participant is tough to figure right now, but USC is the best team IMO.
Similarly, UF lost to a crappy Ole Miss team and has a very good chance to win our conference. What is your reasoning with this statement? They don't play anyone. They lost to a crappy OregonSU. A freshman RB cut 'em to pieces.Texas and Oklahoma are both better teams.
I definitely think Alabama has a defense better than a defensive all-star team from the Big 12.I think TT would put up points against ANY SEC defense. I mean, c'mon, these arent the SEC defenses of yester year. If you honestly believe any of the SEC defenses of this year are THAT much better than the Texas D.....I dunno what to say, except that you must be drinking the SEC kool-aid a little too much.

The dominating nature of the rest of their games, including OSU, is why I think they're the best team in the country. Their D is head and shoulders above the rest of college football and their O is capable of playing with anyone on a given day.
TX and OU can lose on any given day because both have atrocious defenses.
I don't know that they've been playing any great offenses, but shutouts are shutouts. We are talking about 3 one loss teams. What great offense has USC played against? What offense beat Texas? What offense beat Oklahoma? The Big 12 teams are offensive juggernauts. I think Missouri would defeat USC.
I don't know that they've been playing any great offenses, but shutouts are shutouts.
In the same vein, which of the offenses of the Big 12 has played against a top defense or a defense with even an inkling of a defensive line? They don't have a single defense out there as good as ours, and I don't think ours is very good.
Additionally, Graham Harrell would not get to his 4th read on every single play against most of the SEC defenses.
