I understand the concern but depression is not my thing.

The coaches feel this kid has something to contribute and he chose to commit to our team. I can't justify looking down my nose at him because he doesn't have enough stars. Hell, I'm sure being on the island has limited his exposure somewhat as far as camps or clinics he can attend.

Oh yeah, my sarcasm meter peaked out when I read your post. I was just adding a few thoughts to go along with your post.
