I hate to say it, but our administration has brought us to this point. And, it is not just this coaching search. it is the utter ineptitude and mismanagement of the football program over the last 10 years that has dragged a once proud program into the abyss.

Bud, we've been the laughing stock since the day Kiffin went to Cali...We've became a stepping stone job on that day, since we've hired a guy with a losing record from La Tech, lost a lot of coaches, lost to UK and have been blown out by everybody. Won 1 SEC game against VANDY in OT last year.

I still love my Vols and will continue to do so no matter who the coach is, so just accept it and cheer.

I don't care what other team's fans say. I just want to beat them and I don't care who the coaches are at UT when we do. I just want to do it.

Right now they can laugh because we have been pretty laughable for going on five years. I would tell them that pride comes before the fall...ask LSU.

I know this will fall on deaf ears, but here goes...

Rich Rod was a bad fit at michigan. He was there 3 years and his record got better every year he was there. He stocked the cupboard with players to fit his style of football.

Hoke comes in and gets all the credit. The foundation was in place and there is no reason to think Rich Rod couldn't have done as well or better.

You can't just look at a coaching change and ignore all the other facts...

1) drank obscene levels of Natty Ice,
2) proceeded to piss into a balloon,
3) thrown said balloon at passerbyes,
4) And continued to drink said Natty Ice

To his defense Negateer, I know him personally and he is a Sophomore here. What's sad is that this site has become such a joke that when real posts are written they are mistaken for the trolling ones that are every other post. 'Tis why I choose not to read this site much anymore.

i have read countless posts on this very board using the exact language "laughing stock of the sec".

i did not read your link but i am willing to bet heavily that much of what irritates you have been posted verbatim or had words used to that effect by many "VFL" on this board

remind them that at no time in our modern football era have we ever gone winless (UF 1979: 0-10-1)

In fact the only winless season we ever had was 1891 when we went 0-1 for the year.

I'm always suspicious of posts like this, especially when the poster only has posts numbering in the tens. It screams sleeper troll account to me.

Of course, maybe some folks just have lives.

But most times, they're trolls.

Well I'm the latter of that. I have a life and only post when I absolutely feel is necessary. Which is why I personally only have 22 posts. I usually just read the posts by others for entertainment. If you don't believe me you can look at my other posts. None have "troll" qualities. I love my school 'til death.
