It irritates me to see how people talk so much trash about UT and say that we are a terrible program and the laughing stock of the SEC, some even say we are not worthy of being in the SEC anymore. I don't understand their reasoning since we are still one of the all time winningest programs, 6 National Championships, ton of NFL players, One of the top programs in bowl games, and more.

Just because we are struggling right now, people want to kick us while were down. I can not wait until we rise again and shut these people up.

Our DC search is making our program look desperate with the names of La Tech's DC and Buddy Green. Read what Florida Gator fans think of UT

If the posters on other boards are similar to the chronic fools on here, and I'm sure they are, I don't know why anyone would give a flip what is said.

This is a troll thread.

"These people say that.....blah blah...i dont agree with them...then they said this blah bloah...i dont agree with that, either....and they also said this....i dnt agree...oh, and let me name the thread something like UT SUCKS so that people will see it over and over."

Just point and laugh. What he's saying is idiotic. We could have 20 straight seasons like this and still not be as bad as MSU, vandy, ky, Ole Miss, or South Carolina.

Just call OP out for what he is, a troll from UF.ag.

Don't really want to take the time to read trash, but does it say anywhere in there how they felt when our basketball team put the smack down on them the other day?? TIA if you can let me know.

You cannot buy into all of the morons that are out there with a keyboard...any educated person knew that UT was in quite a debacle when Dooley came in and that it would take time...all these idiots who thought we would be 9-3 last season are just completely unrealistic. Our assistants are leaving because these Chicken Little's are calling for everyone's head to roll, besides, Heistand was likely to be let go anyway, and Wilcox and Sirmon went to Washington because they are from the Northwest. I'm not happy with our performance last year either, but we are young and learning on the go..things will improve.This fan-base needs to be more supportive of our Coach, whoever it may be.

I am much more worried about the inferiority complex WAY too many Vol fans have than I am what other fans say.

Well this totally didn't get the reaction that I was expecting, I am by no means a troll and I didn't name this thread so it would surface over and over, I just wanted to address the fact that people are so ignorant to consider UT football only over these few rough years then the decades of history we have. I don't care what they say, its just I take offense to it because I bleed Orange&White, UT is more than a school for me and I hate to see people bad mouth this place. It really shows me the quality of people that are on this forum since you guys are going to bash me, a fellow fan, about this thread.

We just got to stop trying to live off history understand its the past. A little good history doesnt make us entitled to anything. We have to expect more of our COACHES and players. Some of us also need to stop saying you are a troll because you are critical of a situation. We got to hold UT football to a higher standard and accept nothing less. So yeah right now everyone deserves to laugh at us because they are winning.

What about Michigan? Almost the exact situation... they're doing okay, no? And Hoke did it in year 0 to boot.

(i'm not saying UT should be in a BCS game... but losing by 30+ in several games and the loss to UK...?? WTF?)
