The USC Trojans replaced the South Carolina Gamecocks as a 1-seed in the latest top 16 reveal ahead of the 2025 NCAA women's basketball tournament, as announced on ESPN Thursday.

Three SEC teams in our bracket, which appears to me to be the toughest one. As usual.

I wouldn't put too much energy in to the current guessing on seeds outside the top 4-5 teams. As last night game demonstrated there is a lot of apparently serious unknowns about how teams are going to finish the year.

Could be. Oddly enough, though, I also wouldn't be surprised if there were none. It has been THAT kind of season.
