Anyone heard anything about the 2010-11-12 schedules ? i heard we would start of 2010 with either FSU/Miami next Oregon. Also heard 2 game series with OSU and Texas, if true, did we leave the conferance or our we just going to play every top 10 team in country?:ermm:

It means we are going to step up and play the top teams in the country as well as the SEC. I believe OU and Neb are coming in the future as well. One great thing about UT is we usually have a big time ooc team on the schedule every year (and no (D-1aa). I love it

pretty much all the other SEC teams use them but us. I mean UGA hadn't left the South in 40-something years. I believe the last one UT played was around 1980 (sure someone will correct me).

UGa went to Arizona St. this year. You would've been right this time a year ago...

The last I-AA team we played was the Citadel in 1983 (and it looks like we played them in Memphis, weirdly enough). I remember that game, sort of, in that I remember asking my dad what the hell kind of school a "Citadel" was.

Note the usage of the past perfect tense.

With the SECe schedule why would we need top 5 ooc competition ? I appreciate the staff, but couldnt we find a better way to re-build than the B. Pearle "Anyone anywhere" model ? This is not BB, its a collision sport.

Speaking of future OOC schedules..Georgia's doesn't look too friendly next year. They go to Oklahoma State and Georgia Tech and play Arizona State at home.

I would much rather Tennessee play a Miami, UCLA, etc. than a D2 school.

Not only do I agree with the second post in the thread but it is much more entertaining to see the Vols go to South Bend than play a "cupcake" at home.

Your question and your spelling are unbelievable...

Didn't we just add ut-martin to an upcoming schedule because some team dropped us?
