Last year(s) we lose those games. We lose tough, contested, nail-biters to Pitt, Ole Miss, etc.
Now - we are starting to win those games. We've already gutted out 2 of them against top 25 teams. That's just facts.
Yes, the secondary is gross at times and the final minute almost made me vomit. We have a lot of room for improvement and a long way to go before we challenge for the conference.
But, THIS is a team that WINS the kind of games we have lost for the last 15 years. THAT is a BIG DEAL.
