How did our fullbacks look? How did our tight ends look?

Is Cody Sullins for real or are they just working on McNeill's head?

Looks like we might actually use the FB positon this year, which is great. Tight ends looked ok. Cody seems to be the real deal, Josh might be sweating.

Thanks for reply. Did the young db's (Evans, Waggoner, Raines ...) do anything noteworthy? Lay any big licks?

What about kick returns; did we show anything of that stuff?

Interesting thought--that BJC has the most upside. Not to be argumentative but I think JC has the most upside--he's bigger, better arm, more athletic but, unfortunatley, his (JC's) downside is greater too.
I think BJC offers us the best chance to win with solid, methodical QB play.

I just think BJ can make plays and time is on his side. Crompton still makes stupid throws and he's a senior not a sophomore.

All three of those guys looked pretty quick and moved really well to the ball. I'm really excited about Evans and Waggner, if they don't start they should see plenty of playing time. Derrick Furlow had a HUGE hit. Not much to speak of on kickoffs. I believe they only kickedoff to start the game. The rest of the time the O started on about the 30. Raines got shaken up I think, but I don't think it was serious.

I liked the way CLK was out on the field and in the huddle. Since this was my first O&W game I was wondering how Fulmer conducted the game. I saw Monte and Coach O huddling up the defense and going over things on the sideline. Looked like there was some coaching going on.

I believe CLK said he would be out there because they didn't have the signals worked out yet. I'm sure it helped him get a feel for the O too.

An offensive line that can at least compete for line of scrimmage control is one of if not the number 1 problem last year, good to see some signs of life.

Thank you.nothing makes me happier to hear.1) how much blitzing did the defense throw at the offense? 2) did josh mcneil start?

Cool. So is he a true freshman or what? I haven't heard a thing about this guy.

I have buddy in Cumming, GA that went to see the kid last fall in Alpharetta. Said he was absolutely trucking everybody on the field. Should be a good one.

None. They had guys cheat up, but they would back off at the snap.

A Jamal Lewis type guy or what? He looked great Saturday. Didn't see much open field speed but he hit the holes and had good burst. I like this kid. Looked like a pretty big guy too.
