Just saw this stat.

34.1% of Tennessee's offensive drives end in 3-and-outs. That's the worst percentage of 3-and-outs in the entire country.

Damn.

It seems like the Vols would have better luck moving the sticks if they'd just go 5-wide and heave the ball downfield.

In that case we would have to have a QB that can read a defense and go through his progressions and an offensive line that can block...neither of which we have.

No, no. I'm saying, take the snap and just throw it high and long...no progressions, no blocking. Just a bomb.

That's how bad the UT offense is.

If the Vols lose today, no one will be in the house for Wyoming. I propose, in an effort to drive attendance, that UT hold an offensive playcalling contest....Every other series, they draw a random seat from the stands, have you come up to the booth, look at the playbook and pick plays.

I kid. But, it's really couldn't get much worse than it is right now.

I saw it too. I knew we were terrible, but I didn't realize that we were DEAD LAST on 3-and-outs. I've been no Clawson-basher, but that's not a very good stat.

Ironically, I am planning on attending the Wyoming game solely to see how empty Neyland will be. Homecoming might boost the seat number to 75k.

If they let me attempt playcalling as an added gift for showing up, that would be excellent.

Is CPF's comment ''We suddenly just didn't become stupid'' another way of saying his players execution sucks? I realize the players must focus and execute but if I'm our offensive line coach I'm sweatin bullets seeing this stat.

When you have to make the comment "We suddenly just didn't become stupid"is usually an indicator that you truly are stupid.
