I think Jason Brown does well relating to a specific type of kid but he needs to learn a little control. He dosen't practice what he preaches at all. Kinda surprised that ICC put up with him as long as they did.

The coach is fun to watch but dang, know when to turn it off. There is field talk/locker room and professional manner vernacular. He doesn't need to go all bj but he doesn't have to drop m-effers in the press conference.

Interesting side point that should have been brought out more was his ability to make the school money. Community wanted to complain that the school wasn't working for Kansas kids but if it were up to Kansas students the school would be struggling.

Just finished season 4. How come I feel that Coach Brown was very similar to Butch Jones. This isnt a bash Butch post I just feel like both regimes were similar

When Lane Kiffin is sending you signed books, basically telling you to grow up and stop making an *** of yourself, you know you've made a major *** of yourself.

Coach Brown is a punk with zero leadership skills.

Brown makes Buddy Stephens look like a choir boy. Both are terrible coaches.

IMO, the show really went downhill after Brittany Wagner, the academic advisor, left after Season 1. She was more important to that program than any coach. There was a big drop off in Season 2, and Coach Brown is just a complete lunatic.

Naw, not completely stupid. Intelligence comes in many different forms. Jason Brown was able to win a championship with hoodlums and that takes some patience. I have lots of patience and no way in hell could I put up with all their b.s.

Now, would I want Jason Brown anywhere near me or my relatives. Nope. I would love to beat him with a well disciplined team and watch his meltdown.

I agree that Jason Brown makes Buddy Stephen's look like a choir boy! I don't think Brittany Wagoner completely made the show at all. She definitely cared about the guys but at the end of the day she is an academic advisor. The only person to hold those guys accountable is the head coach. Everyone else is there to help along.

I think the teacher Pinkard is from Chattanooga. Some of the things she said was just as dumb and dangerous as Jason Brown.

Yeah, but he didn't. Wagner filled the void.

The only thing preventing probably half of that team from being ineligible was Wagner, and just look at how the players acted around her versus Buddy. The players loved Brittany and I actually think she cared about them. Buddy was just a loose cannon who yelled. I don't think his own assistant coaches even liked him. He didn't really seem to have the respect of anyone.
