In science, you have to publish something interesting, so sometimes you stretch things or present them in the "worst-case" scenario so that people will pay attention.
If a study said, "human activity makes it slightly warmer in some places, and cooler/more unstable in others," no one listens. When you start talking about the various impacts that could have over the long haul of a thousand years, then people sit up and listen. Of course, because the changes are over a long period of time, many will doubt your study entirely because they can't see the impact...
I digress. The point is, I think this study is asinine.
I think by the time when NSD comes around we'll have a top 5 class. I believe that Kiffin and Co. we'll lock up all the top in-state recruits and by the end of the day we'll have a top 5 class.
