Lane Kiffin just sent out a Tweet a little while ago that said Coach O just led a six hour recruiting meeting. Sounds like they are getting after it hard.

I think that when they hit the road after the O&W game you will see some results

Believe me, I fully expect this staff to end up with a top 10 class again, or better. It's how you finish, not how you start. Even when guys "commit" elsewhere, it doesn't mean they are out of the question for these guys.

Exactly. I am not going to put anything past this staff with the outstanding recruiting job they did with the previous class. They have proven they will go after anyone, regardless of their location or current situation.

We may even end up in negative numbers in the rankings.

I am not too up to speed on the theoretical mathematics of recruiting rankings, but I believe the best ranking we can hope for is (1/oo). I am not sure that a negative number would be desirable. Wouldn't that mean we were losing recruits from either future or past years?

Maybe, I could not come up with any other result, though, for a class that ranks better than top ten.

Now that I think about it, could the answer be "all real numbers"?

I was referring to the "top 5", "top 3", or "number 1" tiers when mentioning a better than top 10 class, btw.

All real numbers, as in we are ranked not only 1, but 2-25 as well? Ya, that would be good.

I would imagine Lane does not post those messages on Twitter. I'm sure there is someone else that does it for him. Just another way to get his name out there.

I would agree with you, except the tweet before that talked about looking forward to spending time with family over Easter weekend. Seemed a bit personal to be just some guy.

i've never actually seen a twitter but from what i've gathered it's about the most asinine and egotistical practice imaginable consisting mostly of people who think that their daily mundane existence is so interesting that all of their friends will be clamoring to hear about every single detail...no-one cares if you just had a five dollar footlong and are happy because they gave you bacon for free. to me it's a sign of the downfall of our society and i would much rather not have my head coach participating in such activities.

twittering is best when done perhaps once a day, no more. I just had to set Chip Cain straight on that yesterday... via twitter of course.

Apparently someone does since there are millions and millions of people who use it.
