It is an ok read. Finally something that isn't all negative. That is a plus.

Schools make risky hires all the time. Tressel was a risky hire. Pete Carroll was risky. Coach O at Ole Miss. Win some and you lose some. I just hope we win this one.

Sounds like this is right up my alley.....lemme check it out....

Ok, post-reading, I think it was a great article....good spin on most of what has gone down.....although I'm not calling Kiffin a risky hire.....

Good perspective. Risky hire, but it has its potential to work out really well and only time will tell.

I think that was pretty good article, especially having come from the pen of an admitted "non-Tennessee fan"...

I find it hard to ever read an ENTIRE post of yours because of your avatar. Thank you. :)

You seem to have a good sense of humor, and not TOO much homerism for a rival fan....here is hoping our rivalry is full of great games and SEC titles on the line for the next 20+ years.

I did not think at the time that he was a risky hire. Nor do I beleive it now. Also this writers instance that the Risk management he beleive to be associated with kiffin is different that any other coaches.
As far as the potential to work out later. In every way possible it has already worked out. This staff is as good as it gets. The team has already responded to the challenge. The wins will come.
