It seems that it is being run by someone he knows. Maybe he has a PR person or it the university doing it. Just thought i would pass along.

Yes, I think it is set up specifically for recruiting and to keep up contact with prospects (when allowed).

Someone should start a big facebook group called, "Hey Marlon Brown, you should come to Tennessee!"

If he saw that a few thousand UT fans were a part of that group, it might make him feel all warm and special inside. :blush2:

Ohhhhh.....haven't you heard....it's illegal to try and sway recruits one way or another via facebook...:crazy:

The second one, with 200+ friends claims to be "official." It is associated with a UT e-mail address and was updated after the birth of his son. I'm guessing it's real, but as someone suggested, administered by a staff member.

Am I the only one that finds it a bit "creepy" almost "stalker-like" that we have seen threads like, "Kiffins baby", and "Kiffin has a facebook" ? I mean seriously......some of yall need to get out more.

He's a celebrity and head coach of our football program. I don't know that having a baby or being a member of a social networking site should be big state secrets. The media noted the childbirth for goodness sakes.

So yeah, you may be the only one.

The "recruiting one" has been up from the first days after his hire. The Revis kid from Rhea County was listed as one of his friends. He and I exchanged e-mails and he said he didn't know if it was real. He said he accepted the friend request but had not had any message or communication through it. He said he wasn't sure if it was legit or not.
