I like the way Coach Kiffin hits the recruiting trail and I believe if he keeps at it the Vols are looking at bringing an SEC Title to Knoxville sometime in the next two years.

Well, if Mike DuBose could lead a team to an SEC championship, anybody conceivably could.

I'd like to see Kiffin for a while longer before I say UT should clear a spot in the trophy case, though.

I like how Kiffin has gotten to work right away... but I have to see how his teams perform before I'd dare predict any kind of championship.

its simple, we just have to beat Fla. Georgia will be georgia and get beat by fla and bama next year. we get them auburn and SC at home. If we beat fla we can maybe afford a loss to bama. it just all comes down to beating the gators. alwaya has been, and prolly always will be.

Its not news that he can. Get back with me when he does! I do hope his recruiting effort carries over to his coaching and development.

The one thing that stuck out to me in the SECCG was the physical play for both UF and Bammer. IMO, other than a very few players, we have not had that physical style of play for quite some time. If Lane does in fact bring in a hard-nosed physical approach, I like our chances in the very near future. Been way too many guys playing patty-cake out there instead of bloodying someone's nose.

Not only the physical play but the absence of mistakes, mental (false starts etc.) or physical (fumbles etc.). Funny how we have a senior tailback that still hasn't been coached enough on how to carry the ball. That was a well played game, I hope to see remarkable improvement in our fundamentals next year. I don't think we'll win the SEC or anything, but I expect to see hard play and determination unlike the lackadaisical play we have seen for years on the hill. Not in the first game but I bet by the end of next year we will have a team playing smart and tough that makes us proud, win or lose.
