Glass houses...

Though I would hope that some would understand the finger-pointing we've done toward the last staff, I have a feeling that, in the future, Dooley won't even be able to think about bending the rules without being turned in for it (assuming we are tied to this latest nugget). I would enjoy seeing O get it, but I hope that is a very widespread feeling amongst other coaching staffs as well or we may be plowing a tough row to hoe.

I hope Orgeron eventually receives his well-deserved lifetime ban from the NCAA.

Skeeter, do you have any inside info about what Juniors are Vol leans? I know we are all expecting DT Danny O'Brien to eventually be a Vol? Any word on teammates DeLoach and Taylor? What about Tennessee standouts Kimbrow and Bowles? Anyone else?

I realize football recruiting is not the number one topic of conversation, amongst coaches, now like it was in January.

Sorry for being "out of the loop", but what is this about?

It seems that we assisted the NCAA in making their case against Kiffin. This likely means that current coaches that were on the last staff helped out. I'm just saying that other coaches don't seem to like that very much and appear quite willing to roast you for it. With that said, most don't like Kiffin, so they make look the other way or try to help bury him.

Can we please stop putting Lamar Dawson's name on VN? Anyone who tells Dooley he is a Vol the night before signing day and totally lies should never be mentioned on this site. As the Godfather says, "He is dead to us!!!" I can't stand liers. He has no integrity.

If true, and judging by the source, it seems like it has to be, this would most certainly end the Kiffin in USC right?

It would have to be the end of Kiffin. No way he could take this hit and the hit about to come from the Tennessee mess.

Would Ed O be done in college?

Correct me if I am wrong, but he has not really been nailed before. He may carry a stigma that other programs wouldn't want, but I bet someone would bite.

The real heat falls on USC - who is already on probation. Kiffin would almost certainly be dismissed, taking Ed with him for putting USC in the crosshairs further.... IMHO.

why would he be done? what is his accused violation?

According to the OP he took part in recruiting practices in relation to recruiting Lamar Dawson. Apparently, he also stepped on some toes. What more do you need to kick someone out of football and end their career? We don't need any stinking details, we know he's dirty...
