I wish they would just trade Kobe. He's a headache. If he wanted to win he wouldn't have ran everyone out of LA 3 years ago. Bynum's a great player and they need to think about rebuilding a team around him.

Are you being serious? There's no way the Lakers will trade him to a Western Conference team, but Marion would be a good fit in LA. The more I think about it the more I want them to trade him to Chicago. Even though we're not going to get anything out of it the Lakers can get rid of him and can start to rebuild again. I want the Lakers to win as bad as anyone, but there's no way Kobe can expect the Lakers to be contenders after a good offseason when you're in the same conference as Phoenix, Dallas, and San Antonio. He should just shut up about this. I guess he won't be a Laker for Life anymore like he said after he dismantled the franchise a couple of years ago.

Chicago has the most to offer with a ton of young talent and a high draft pick this year. I'm hearing Kobe and JO to the Knicks and a LONG shot of Garrnett to Phx.

No I watched a lot of Laker games this season and he's going to be great. He should be starting next year and they can move that joke of a player Kwame Brown to the bench.

No, he's not. He will be a 10 point, 7 rebound guy. Eddie Curry is vastly superior.

I don't know. He'll be great under Phil Jackson and he just needs more playing time to show what he has. I understand what you're saying, but I'm hoping for the best. He's the only thing the Lakers will have after Kobe gets shipped out. Lamar Odom is a good player but he's never going to be a superstar. Bynum really needs a breakout year next year.

I'd wait a little longer before coming up with that conclusion. He is a 19-year-old kid who has only been in the league for two years now. I'll at least wait another two to three years before I declare Curry the superior player.

That's just the problem though. It was preposterous for the Lakers to draft Bynum in the first place. Mitch Kupchak is the GM of the Lakers; not the Hawks. He's supposed to be trying to win titles; not provide on the job training for D-league talent.

They needed a replacement at the center position once Shaq was traded. Problem is, they drafted a 17-year-old kid who had no idea what he was getting into. He did improve slightly from his first season though. And I expect him to be 16 and 8 type player by his fourth or fifth year.

They traded up to get him straight outta HS. Otherwise, he would have rotted in Charolette. Instead he got 3 rings.

They chose him and Jackson over Shaq since they couldn't afford all 3.

They stood by him during the rape allegations, and all the embarassing info and bad press that brought.

He repays this loyalty by whining publicly.

Stupid punk.
