Candace can certainly come off as cocky, but I'd say she's more confident than anything.

please, candace can do whatever the hell she wants to. be as cocky as u want candace, u basically put up 2 championship banners and will most definitely have your jersey retired in TBA. and congratulations to pat...without her this program is nothing. ALL HAIL THE WIZARD OF KNOXVILLE!

She's got eight of them now. Two more to catch John Wooden.

The only coach of the year award that Geno deserves is the "Run-it-Up Against Bad Teams All Year and then Choke" award. LMAO that he whined all year about not getting to play UT, and then he gets his chance and gets his butt handed to him by Stanford. Maybe if he'd been more worried about beating Stanford that playing UT...

until i see any player in any sport, male or female, come anywhere close to manning up the way candace did after her shoulder dislocation, she has earned the right to act any way she wants.

i think this is one of the best coaching jobs that CPHS has done in a while. Tonight's game shows how good she really is as a coach and prep. The team was ready to step up and deliver and control every aspect of the game from the start. Great play and great coaching.

We didn't play that badly. That crackerbox Stanford plays in is a very hard place to win at. When they had their great teams of the early '90s, they once went about three years and never lost a home game, and they didn't lose any this year, either.

I think Pat was mainly upset that the team let that environment get to them. We're a better team than Stanford and shouldn't have lost to them anywhere.

Way to go ladies! And Candace deserves all the accolades coming her way. She played unselfishly and in obvious pain. She held the team up all year and they came to her rescue in the end. Just great EXCITING basketball all the way. :thumbsup:
