Lady Vols individual workouts begin

The basketball workouts began and from reports freshmen Glory Johnson and Shekinna Stricklen are impressing the coaches.

Pat had this to say after one of the sessions:

“I thought Glory and Shekinna were two of the most impressive players on the floor today just in terms of their athleticism and their skill,” Summitt said.

What's the scope on Bass? Is she only 5'3"?

Briana is listed 5'2 on the roster.

Here is an update on her from last week:

Backup point guard Briana Bass, meanwhile, is progressing nicely after having surgery in February to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee. The 5-foot-2 freshman is taking part in the individual workout sessions.
