And don’t think for one second the coaches hadn’t formed a pact to keep Tennessee out of the polls to potentially sway the NCAA selection committee from voting to select the LVs as a Top 16 seed team. The LVs determination to overcome the tough schedule and injuries was solidified after the physically dominant 2nd half performance against top 5 SEC foe LSU. Rickea Jackson, Jordan Horston, Jillian Hollingshead, and company shocked the nation coming back from a 17 point deficit.
Tennessee is now a contender for a 9th-national championship in program history!

Not a writer at all but an educator.
I just follow sports on every level. Lady Vols are one of my all-time favorite sports teams. Up there with the former Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, and New York Yankees.

All of the tournament teams are contenders. However, it's gonna' be a tough row to hoe. Only one 4 seed has advanced to the final (LaTech 1994), and they lost.
