Lady Vols Great on Defense ----- Struggling On Offense

Why? Parker threw the ball inbounds versus Vandy and stood out-of-bounds for a full 5 seconds or more before moving onto the playing court. Why? We are not moving without the ball very well either. Too much Reliance on C Parker. No doubt the best defense and recovery defense in the Nation when they play hard. I just do not see them playing offense as hard and point production is down. Spencer saved our backsides against Vandy. What kind of Offense are we running. It looks to much like it is freelancing versus a set offense.

a lot has to do with how many shots we take. Against Vandy, we took 48 shots, but took 72 against Duke. Just depends on the game plan, I guess....either way, we're averaging about 75 points a game, which isn't awful.

about the lack of organized offense. I get this feeling that one of Pat's assistant coaches have influenzed her offensive decisions. I think that Pat controls the defense but not sure who does the offense. I just don't like it. I know they like to run but there is a time when we need a set play. We are relying to much on Parker and at times she plays lazy. I think Pat needs to take control of the offense and stop listening to whoever is telling her to let them play or just let them create. Defense will only get you so far.
