The USA TODAY Sports preseason women's basketball coaches poll was released Tuesday, and Tennessee begins the 2013-14 campaign as the fourth-ranked team in the country.

Well, at least we started off better this year than last. We started at #20 last year I believe. Anyway, we are ahead of Louisville at #5 & Notre Dame at #7. I bet those two feel like crap since they finished ahead of TN last year. Go Lady Vols & have a victorious year for 2013-2014.

Baylor who ? Griner is gone,but they had a great team around her,it will be interesting to see how they do this year

preseason poles are usually a joke,in basketball,they should wait a couple of weeks,before they even make a pole,but it does give the readers something to talk about

as it has me :)

and damn i can't wait till Monday

its all about winning on the road to maintain one's ranking.

A great starting point for this team. We have to see how we play and then will be easy to determine where we belong. I think we may have a final four team this season.

I have such high expectations for the team this year. We have a SOLID team top to bottom I feel.
As long as they take care of the ball & we dominate the paint/rebounding, skys the limit!

I feel that as long as we don't have any injuries that takes out any player more than a few games, we will be in the final four.
As I've said before, our second string (which will no doubt change through out the year ) would be starting for 90% of the D-1 teams in the country.
