Lady Vols beat a RANKED team in scrimmage

The thing I like about it is that her team is just learning the system. At Marshall, they lost 4 of their 7 November games (1 of the 3 wins may have been an exhibition), and then only lost occasionally after that. To be very competitive in October is an unexpected start that I will gladly take.

what we don't know is how NC played the game
OR,,,how we played it
Need a box score to understand the significance

Let’s gooo!

What excites me more than anything is CKC probably wasn’t happy at all. I think that’s a safe bet based on what we’ve heard from her in recent pressers. She probably had the team running for mistakes/errors made in the scrimmage.

Like I said before, it’s about to be a track meet at Food City Center!

I don’t think for the last several months the WBB fans and media realize the capability of this new LV roster and new coaching staff.

Exhibition or not playing in their first game together at a neutral site against a ACC team shows that as I stated before from those practice highlights this team is deep, athletic, and highly skilled.

Scrimmage or not I’m almost certain that UNC played to be competitive. Teams don’t just walk on the court and score 96 and 79 points respectively by default.

Second it shows that the offseason preparation was effective and that the team is in outstanding physical condition to score 96 points.

I’m sure that the chemistry still needs more work and time to develop so that offensive production in game 1 of the Coach Caldwell era was 50/50 based off of natural skills and instincts.

Meaning there are some high level scorers on this team that are going to cause havoc in the SEC.

GBO!

They started their season on the road for the first five games, winning one at Chattanooga.
In their first game at home, they beat Florida.
Two more wins on the road before losing at Wake Forest.

After 5 road losses in the first 9 games, they lost only 1 more game in the regular season.

Makes me think Rick should have asked Kim's advice on how to coach an exhibition game.
This statement shows your ignorance. I am sure you are Special Ed, meaning you need need special assistance due to a mental disability!
Barnes is an awesome coach! UT is very fortunate to have him! It isn't Barnes fault that UT players shot 23% from beyond the 3pt line and 30% from the rest of the floor. Most teams lose most games with shooting percentages that low! Unless, they out rebound their opponent by a lot. UT also got less boards than IU! Get a clue!

Well, at least you pointed it out nicely.

Why did you go off like that?

Now I have to point out your ignorance. If you were familiar with Special Ed's many, many posts you would know that his tongue was firmly planted in his cheek. I'm sorry if you've had a bad day, but don't vent it here, okay?
