Lady Vols basketball top 25

Our Lady Vols have a lot of work to do to prove to the pollsters that they deserve a place in the top 25, but yes, I believe they’ll gradually claw their way back. This season will be a learning year as they do all the time-consuming remedial work on fundamentals, but I am 100% certain that they are no longer in decline. They are definitely on their way back UP.

It should never even be a question. We should live in the top 15.

True, but Coach KJH inherited the essence of "diamond in the rough"...But we do have numerous prospects with prospective talent

Given this job, I give Coach Kellie 3 years...

One to instill her own environment in ---with a top 15 finish and a good showing in the NCAA

Two to show the type of players she will bring in and steady improvement---Top ten finish and E8 minimal in the tourney

Three Dominance. Top four finish, Ff in the tourney.

@Coach Jumper Very similar timetable for me.

I want to see improvement as the season 1 progresses, not regression, top 25 finish and competitive in NCAAT games.
Season 2 - Top 10 and Elite 8.
Season 3 - Get to SECCG, Top 5, Strong Tourney run

I am with you on this. As long as I see forward progression this first season with a new staff, I’ll be happy. Completely stop the bleeding this year, and then next year we should all expect a top 10-12 finish and to at least reach the E8.

Just waiting to see what the defense looks like this season. Last season was the reason we lost several games namely Arkansas. Alabama, SC, Stanford, Vandy, and Texas A&M. You have to be able to keep teams around 65 to 70 to be in the game. We let Arkansas score 80, Alabama 86, SC 82, Stanford 95, Vandy 76 shocking, Texas A&M 79, all are game we should've won just by keeping their point totals down. Six possible wins 25 and 7 we have to get better on defense this season. Also Notre Dame scored like 20 unanswered in that game defense will tell us where we are for the season.

I just be glad to have a coach that knows the answer to a question in the post game interview...

No scratching your head, no hands on hips , no two hands in the air with ( what the h__l ?)
No whistling at players! Use some of your time outs !!! And the players exhibit basketball fundamentals and I will be satisfied! Win or lose .... doesn’t matter ! This alone would show improvement. JMO
