Lady Vols at Texas

It started at 8:00 on ESPN2. Not looking good for the Lady Vols, they are down 18-6 to start the game.

Well, that was a tough loss! Looks like the Lady Vols have been hanging around with the mens basketball team. Now I really hope that we don't have to play Texas in the Cotton Bowl. That Jackson girl who played for Texas was a MONSTER tonight!

Jackson was tough and the Lady Vols were never really in that game. I'm sure they will bounce back though.

Oh yeah, they will bounce back for sure. I wouldn't want to make that trip back with Pat.

4 tough games in 7 days all against teams that made the NCAA's last year. It showed tonight the Ladies had no legs and add to this due to a mix-up they arrived at the arena only 47 minutes prior to tip-off.

Remember Pat plays for March not December.

Bad shot selection and overall mistakes cost the Lady Vols the game last night. Aside from Birttany Jackson, no Vol was reall on her game, took bad/hurried shots and Texas capitalizes on it.

We made a push there at the end of the 1st and into the 2nd half, but we didn't play a good game overall and against a talented team like Texas, a loss will occur then.

Time to bounce back against GW this Sunday, Summitt will have this team fired up big time.
