The Lady Vol basketball team will start the 2011-12 season ranked No. 3 in The Associated Press poll. The preseason rankings were released on Saturday.

Coach Summitt was referring to the stretch of games against No. 7 Miami (Nov.15), No.1 Baylor (Nov. 27), No. 24 Texas (Dec. 4), vs. No. 19 DePaul (Dec. 11), at No. 16 Rutgers (Dec. 13), at No. 22 UCLA (Dec. 17) and at No. 5 Stanford (Dec. 20).

I don't even know how to begin with how insane this schedule is. There are NBA teams that have won championships with easier playoffs than this, let alone regular season

I honestly think they got it right. No telling what they will be ranked after the first month of the season. They play atleast 5 highly ranked teams to start the year.
