These numbers are insane. We have a productive cast of WR's last year, and their numbers are being cut in half. How is going from last year to this year possible? How can we become so bad in 1 off season?

***All figures calculated from ESPN.com and percentiles were compared at projected numbers through the final 2 games of the year. Granted 07 numbers have 2 extra games we will not play in, SECCG and Bowl, but still the numbers are ludicrous.

The scientific answer using all variables possible is that we don't have anyone who can throw a football worth a damn.

Hope that helps.

Geez, that is pathetic! Thanks for putting that together. I knew it was bad, but that is horrendous.

How is it confusing that going from a competent quarterback to two of the ten worst in America will hurt the production of a team's wide receivers?

. . . and you can't overstate that. This is without a doubt, the worst QB play I've ever witnessed at Tennessee. These guys make me yearn for those tough games I endured watching the likes of Steve Alatorre, Sterling Henton, Randy Sanders, AJ Suggs and Joey Matthews. Their inability to read a defense and make a throw is simply astonishing.

that and we have a new oc with qbs who had about zero game time experience.. and an oline that would lose at "red rover, come over" against a bunch of 3rd graders, veek veek veek..

Our O is sad, what else can you say
It is VERY sad, but at some point your QB has to find a hot receiver and make a throw or two to keep a drive going. We've spent all year trying to run the ball against 8 man fronts because nobody even remotely fears our ability to complete any pass over 7 yards.

If we could just find a QB that would stop playing catch with the groundhogs on the field then maybe.....

For the people who don't understand a Rhetorical question, please look it up.

I wasn't looking for a serious answer to my question.

I was simply trying to get a nice firm grasp in number form of how bad our QB play has been. And it was astonishing at how bad it actually was when put into these terms.

Wonder what the percentage is of throws to the other team, the bench, the ground, and fans?

Do you guys think Crompton comes back next season since he should already be done with his degree?

hey captain obvious.. why dont you take your sweet stats and show them to Hamilton. I hear they are hiring statistical geniuses to help compile the season's lack luster season facts.

here is your firm grasp, we sucked.

anyone else up for letting this season go?

^^rhetorical question for captain obvious^^
