When CJP said speed is over rated he really meant speed is important but so is technique and intelligence?

Why can't our "straight shooter" just simply say that then?

It's what I heard. Scanning through your posts about the hire, is it possible you're looking for reasons?
And don't get me wrong, have zero problems with someone not liking the hire or pointing out real issues. Just don't think his wording was one.

I'm indifferent on the hire. He's got to prove he is the right guy. I'm not looking for gotchas. I'm looking for what he said before the season as what to look for in games.
I understand the DBs trial by fire. DLine and LBs though...for our D expert coach...big concerns.

I hope he does great and my lack of faith makes me a fool.

But for now, I think were still a 4-8 team.
