‘23 LA CB Jordan Matthews (Tennessee)

Kelly was a 8-5 coach at ND the first like 7 years there. Never recruited phenomenally well But would fumble 3-4 games a year vs lesser talent. Not convinced in his coaching abilities
He’s a good coach. Probably won’t matter though. Just don’t see him being a fit as far as personality

The other one probably worth watching over the next two or three weeks is four-star cornerback Jordan Matthews of Baton Rouge, La. He's likely to announce a decision before the start of his season. A lot of people still think Texas is the team to beat for him right now, but Tennessee has continued to battle and still might have at least a shot.

We are ahead of where I thought we would be on recruiting and it will slowly get better every year as our program grows.
Cam Sutton, Inky Johnson, so on and so forth.

I have absolute confidence Willie Mo will find or already has a damn good backup plan. CB's are much easier to scout and find than DT or OL.

Hopefully we..."invest" in this one.

We need more DUDES across the board. Not just QB, TE, DE.
It’s interesting bc we’ve recruited the two most top paying positions (by nfl salary) on both sides of the ball very well, QB and Edge. WR technically is the second highest paid position in the league which we haven’t done as well on paper recruiting but have shown ability to develop and get underrated guys to the league.

Just wondering if they’re planning to target kids more in the portal at some positions than just recruiting high school players? Maybe we’re saving money for a run at the portal next year? Maybe weren’t as active this season due to investigation and possible inducement allegations being thrown our way like USC had this season.
